This register of authorised representatives is provided by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission ‘ASIC’ and lists all people or companies authorised as representatives by an Australian financial services (AFS) licensee or by a corporate representative of a licensee.

Directors and employees of licensees do not appear in this register as they do not need to be authorised by the licensee.

Helpful Hints:

	Before making any decision whether or not to consider arranging any insurance business with an RGIB’ Authorised Representative, consumers ought to request from the authorised representative a copy of their authorisation.
	Consumers ought to then check ASIC’s list of authorised representatives to be sure that the representative is authorised to act on behalf of an AFS licensee.
	Finally, consumers can contact the AFS licensee (in this case RGIB on 13-7442) and confirm the representative is authorised.
