Charles started his insurance career in 1979 as an insurance
cadet with the Farmer’s and Grazier’s Insurance
Cooperative Company (FGC) and since that time achieved
an impressive 26 consecutive years in the insurance industry.
Charles rejoined the management of the business in April
2005 and takes pride in his achievements in expanding
the client services section of Rural & General Broking.

| How do you retain this urgent sense to keep
changing and improving when you’ve worked in
insurance for 26 years? Aren’t you tired of
change by now? |
| I’m a very curious person by nature. My character
leans toward constructive aggressiveness which a lot
of people just don't get but, and I like it that way.
I immediately recognise a problem, know right away
that something is far too expensive or not suitable,
that something needs improvement. I notice things,
and I don’t resist change. |
